Jon helps manage and guide all departments at My Sports Dreams. In addition, he works with college coaches and teams in the east region of the United States.
Jon has spent most of his professional career in the sports world. In the '90's, he co-founded one of the largest sports talk radio companies in the country -- SportsFan Radio Network -- which provided programming to hundreds of stations across the US with hosts like John Madden, Bob Costas, Keith Olbermann and Pete Rose. SportsFan Radio Network was eventually acquired buy Winstar Radio Networks where Jon continued in a management role as the director of business development.
Before his radio days, Jon was a principal in the film production company which supplied the Emmy Award winning film "The Absolutely True Adventures of the Cheerleader Murdering Mom" to HBO. Jon graduated from Colgate University in 1981 where he briefly played soccer for the Red Raiders and earned a degree in International Relations.
In 2004, Jon made the big move out of New York City and joined his brothers-in-law, Jordan and Adam, in the creation of My Sports Dreams. And, as they say, the rest is history!
An avid football fan, Jon is a proud owner of the Green Bay Packers (1 share!) and makes an annual trek to Lambeau Field each winter to cheer on the Packers. In his free time, Jon enjoys cheering on his kids at their numerous sporting events, playing squash and paddle tennis, vacationing with his family, and pretty much anything green and gold. Jon lives in Goldens Bridge, NY, with his wife Eloise and three sons: Benny, 13, Grant, 11 and Chase, 7.
ADAM KERN Owner, Vice President of Client Services
During the last five years, Adam has served a variety of leadership roles for My Sports Dreams Since the business has grown so quickly, Adam has is now heading up our five-person Client Services Department where he is faced with the challenge of maintaining the excellent service and support that our customers have come to expect.
Adam graduated from the University of Colorado where he majored in Communications and minored in History. While at in Boulder, Adam lettered in wrestling and helped guide the Buffaloes rugby team to a #5 national ranking. After graduating, he ran the Roberto Clemente All-Stars with his brother, Jordan, and was instrumental in starting Team Rangers, an ice hockey camp sponsored by the New York Rangers that brought hundreds of youth players from metro New York to Montreal for weeklong tournaments and instruction. Adam is also very involved in scholastic wrestling and has coached at three different New York high schools, and is currently the president of Section 1 USA Wrestling. Adam enjoys playing competitive softball, paddle tennis, spending time with his family and loyal dog, Chabo, and rooting for the Red Sox. He lives in Katonah, NY, with his wife Robin, and two children Jake, 3 and Joey, 1.
As one of the company’s founders, Jordan’s responsibilities include overseeing and supervising our Marketing, Fulfillment and Internet departments.
Jordan graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising. After leaving Madison, he did a stint a Burson-Marsteller, a New York City public relations firm before starting a business with his brother, Adam. The siblings founded Roberto Clemente All-Stars in 1991, a national baseball camp led by prominent college coaches and pro scouts. For seven years, the company brought over 5,500 high school players from throughout the United States to Puerto Rico for a week of games, instruction, and sightseeing. The company was eventually bought by Coast to Coast Baseball Stars. Jordan also helped write and edit a book called The High School Athlete’s Guide to College Sports that educates parents and students about the confusing college recruiting business. The book has sold over 18,000 copies and has helped thousands of athletes earn scholarships. When he is not working, Jordan enjoys spending time with his family, playing paddle tennis, running, and reading. He lives in Goldens Bridge, NY, with his wife Ellen, and children Malina, 6 and Eli, 1.
Tom wears many hats at My Sports Dreams. His main responsibility is overseeing the company's five-person sales department and managing all college clients in the central region of the United States. During his tenure, Tom’s department has increased sales 125% from the previous year. In addition, he lends his marketing expertise and leadership in developing new digital fundraising initiatives and partnerships.
Tom joined My Sports Dreams after 30 years of experience in marketing for Fortune 500 companies like Disney, Sports Illustrated, International Management Group (IMG), and Saatchi & Saatchi. As a three sport star athlete at Lake Forest College in Illinois, Tom lettered in tennis, hockey and soccer, and received a Political Science degree. In his spare time, Tom enjoys cooking, music, spending time with his family, and playing tennis and paddle tennis. He lives in Armonk, NY, with his wife Georgi and two children Carly, 18 and Camey, 14.
Allison is the primary contact for our clients in nine different sports, including soccer, track, cross country, and volleyball. Her responsibilities include working with coaches to finalize the orders, making sure they print correctly, helping teams successfully execute the fundraiser, and providing service and support throughout the entire campaign.
Allison is a 2003 graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she majored in English and Comparative Literature. Prior to joining My Sports Dreams, Allison worked at Enterprise Rent a Car and Progressive Insurance. Allison currently lives in Peekskill, NY and loves rooting for the New York Mets and going to the movies.
Anthony is in charge of all our college and high school hockey clients and works closely with the National Hockey Coaches Association to promote My Sports Dreams to coaches nationwide.
Anthony grew up in Johnston, RI, and earned a Political Science degree from Boston College. As a former captain of BC (NCAA D-1 2001 national champions), Anthony was regarded as one of the top collegiate defenseman in the country. After graduation, he played professionally with the Tulsa Oilers and Corpus Christie Rayz, before being picked up by the Boston Bruins’ AHL affiliate in Providence. Unfortunately, two knee injuries (ACL) ended his career prematurely. During his college summers, he ran a 10-team youth league in Boston. Currently he is the assistant hockey coach for Rye Country Day School. Before joining My Sports Dreams, Anthony was a regional sales director for Noble House Wines, an upscale distributor based out of New York City. He lives in Rye, NY, with his fiancée, Carly.
KAITLYN FITZPATRICK Marketing Intern
Caitlin works in our Marketing Department and has been interning through her high school program since November. She is a senior at Fox Lane High School, who is looking to get a degree in business once in college. Outside of work she is a member of the Fox Lane varsity soccer team and the varsity track team. Along with athletics, she participates in many activities throughout her community, including her membership with the Mount Kisco Ambulance Corps.
Laura has a variety of responsibilities at My Sports Dreams. Her main task is to manage all facets of the company’s extensive Email marketing campaigns with our college, high school, and youth coaches. In addition, she has the daunting responsibility of scheduling and organizing more than 125 college road trips that our sales reps take each year. Laura also helps identify key strategic partners including college coaching association, travel groups, and tournaments.
Laura is a proud alumnus of Miami University of Ohio where she received a degree in Public Relations. During her college summers, she interned at My Sports Dreams and was the store manager at Crabtree & Evelyn in Connecticut. She lives in Stamford, CT, and enjoys playing soccer, spending time with friends, watching TV, and making annual treks to Notre-Dame and Boston College football games.
Chris focuses on promoting My Sports Dreams to the high school and youth markets. He is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta where he received a degree in Communications. Chris was a midfielder for Oneonta’s Lacrosse team. Working in White Plains he received the Top Gun Award for performance. Chris currently lives in Mt. Kisco, where he enjoys riding his motorcycle, and D.I.R.T. car racing.
Katie is a graduate of the prestigious University of St. Andrews in Scotland where she majored in International Relations, and interned at Scotland’s Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence. She also received her Master’s Degree from St. Andrews in Central and East European Studies. Prior to working at My Sports Dreams, Katie was a teaching assistant at Horace Greeley H.S. with the responsibility of caring for students with special needs. She also tutored high school students in preparing for the SATs. Katie lives in Chappaqua, NY, and enjoys reading, swimming and knitting.
JESSICA KOREN Marketing Intern
Jessica is an intern in our Marketing Department, getting involved with projects of all sorts. Jessica will attend the University of Michigan next year, hoping to study in the field of biology. As a senior in high school, Jessica was a team captain of the John Jay Varsity Volleyball team. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and having a good time. She lives in Goldens Bridge, NY.
Megan manages all sales efforts for all of our college clients in 14 western states. During the last three years, she has introduced My Sports Dreams to over 850 college teams and has helped them reach their fundraising goals. When she is not on the road living out of her suitcase (she travels to college campuses every other week during the school year), Megan has been instrumental in establishing key partnerships with the California Community College Conference and the Arizona Community College Conference, and Spring Fling, a popular spring break lacrosse tournament featuring hundreds of college teams.
Megan is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and captained the Bullets’ nationally ranked lacrosse team. Even though she was recruited as a soccer player, Megan was named the Division III National Lacrosse Player of the Year. After graduation, she worked for Octagon Sports in Connecticut and the English Lacrosse Association in London. In addition to her duties at My Sports Dreams, Megan founded and directs the Fun in the Sun Lacrosse Camp, one of the most popular instructional camps for young girls in New York and Connecticut. Megan lives in Stamford, CT, and loves to compete in triathlons, and squash, paddle tennis and lacrosse tournaments.
Nell is a Client Service contact for our clients in many different sports, including basketball, volleyball, track and field hockey. Her responsibilities include working with coaches to finalize the orders, helping teams successfully execute their fundraisers, and providing support throughout the entire campaign. Nell currently resides in Wilton, CT. She recently graduated with a degree in Advertising from Penn State University, where she dominated on the intramural sports scene with multiple championship wins.
When not displaying her athletic skills to the occasional spectator, Nell was an annual volunteer for THON, the world’s largest student run philanthropy which raises money for the Hershey Medical Center for Childhood Cancer. Penn State is the happiest place on Earth. Her hobbies include running, playing tennis, finding Waldo, spooning, watching college football, everything Penn State, and eating "just one" potato chip.
Debbie helps organize all financial aspects of our business. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and later a Masters degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. After school, Debbie worked for Reliance Insurance in their management department, and taught fifth and sixth grade language and math at New York City’s Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. An avid tennis player, Debbie enjoys vacationing with her family in Nantucket, MA, reading, knitting, and good game of Mahjong. She lives in Cross River, NY, with her husband, Alan, and three boys: Jake, 15, Noah, 13, and Daniel, 7.
Chris is responsible for assisting our Client Service Managers and specifically making sure that each team’s online donation page looks perfect and is working correctly. In addition, he processes all of the installment donations, and assists in the Marketing Department with a variety of tasks.
Chris is currently receiving a business degree at Westchester Community College. When he’s not working at My Sports Dreams, Chris runs his own design firm developing web sites for local businesses. He was a star split end on the Fox Lane H.S. football team and enjoys playing basketball and cheering on the Oakland Raiders. Originally from Jamaica, Chris now lives Bedford Hills, NY.
Anya is responsible for making us look good. As a skilled and creative designer, she formats all Sponsorship Letters and develops all of our mailing materials, advertisements, and promotional flyers. In addition, she designs all of our printed and online sales materials.
Anya is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta where she received a degree in Computer Art. She also starred on the Red Dragon’s rugby team playing scrum half. Prior to joining My Sports Dreams, Anya was a graphic designer at Mancini Duffy, a prominent architectural firm in New York City. Anya lives in Chappaqua, NY, with her two boxers, Mack and Bella. A bit of daredevil, Anya enjoys riding quads, cliff diving, and playing tennis.
ANDREW SOLOMON Marketing Intern
Andrew is an intern in our Marketing Department. He is responsible for assisting with our affiliate program, our sponsorship campaigns and updating our extensive database. Andrew is finishing his last year at the University of Rhode Island where he will earn a B.S. in Business Management. Andrew hopes to pursue a career in the sports marketing industry after he graduates, while teaching scuba diving to beginners. In his spare time, Andrew likes to play the guitar and spend time outdoors.
Nick focuses on promoting My Sports Dreams to the high school and youth markets. Prior to his work in our Sales Department, Nick spent two years as an intern in our Marketing Department.
Nick is finishing up his degree at Western Connecticut State University where he is double majoring in Marketing and Small Business Entrepreneurial Studies. Nick is also a star defender and team captain for the Colonials lacrosse team. Nick currently lives in Danbury, CT and enjoys going to concerts and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
Leslie is the primary contact for our clients in many different sports, including soccer, baseball, tennis and golf. Her responsibilities include working with coaches to finalize the orders, making sure they print correctly, helping teams successfully execute the fundraiser, and providing service and support throughout the entire campaign. Leslie was born outside of Boston, MA and continued to move throughout the United States and overseas during her childhood. She most recently moved to New York City from Chicago, IL, where she was the assistant manager to a prominent nationwide restaurant chain.
Leslie graduated from Trinity College in Hartford CT, with a degree in International Studies, having studied for seven months abroad in Santiago, Chile. With a passion for musical theatre, outside of work she continues to pursue singing and acting whenever possible. Leslie enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring the extensive performing arts world in Manhattan.
RICK WILEY Director of Technology / Web Development
Rick has been our master coder and web designer for the last four years. He is responsible for managing the workflow of our internal client database, order process, administration and websites.
Rick graduated from Syracuse University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science from Newhouse School of Communications. After a short career in the NYC Advertising industry, he turned his eyes to computers and Web Development in 1995. Rick was hired by a top New York record label to develop websites while pioneering audio streaming promotion. In his free time, Rick teaches computer classes at a local art center, writes music, runs his own Karaoke business, and helps local establishments with their web development needs. He lives in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
